About Site:
Site Sayakha, a greenfield facility located in Sayakha, District Bharuch, Gujarat State, India, inaugurated in February 2024, is Perstorp’s latest state of the art production plant. This is the first major investment in India by Perstorp, and the site is spread out over approximately 28 acres of land. The plant produces Penta which has a vast range of application areas, being an essential building block for coatings, as well synthetic lubricants, and antioxidants.
Our new plant solidifies and strengthens our long-term position and presence in the growth region of Asia. It also reinforces our ability to meet growing demand, particularly in Asian markets.

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Planning
Reporting to: Reliability Manager

Main Function:
The Job purpose of position is to ensure Job Planning and Improve Plant availability by coordinating teamwork managing resources in a group of team and ensure successful execution of work within mutually agreed time and cost as Planned. The position shall work to maximize equipment availability, through reliable and quality maintenance and effective Planning as well
Role:
The role is responsible to
  • Receipt of the work Package from the Reliability Engineer of PM Software or from the Service Orders from the SAP PM system.
  • After completing the Job Planning coordinate with, Production department for shutdown and Plant Stoppage.
  • Ensure Material/Spare Parts requirement availability well before shutdown.
  • Review of Spare Part Inventory available in Warehouse.
  • Explaining Method statement and providing necessary training to contractor Manpower before start of the Job.
  • Caring of people’s health and safety and their well-being
  • Identify Faulty equipment and their issues and sending them for repairing.

Required Knowledge base and experience:

  • A Full-Time Graduate Mechanical or Chemical Engineer from a Reputed Institution
  • More than 12 to 15 years of experience in continuous process plant in Maintenance or Planning Department.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of field operations. SAP PM experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in SAP PM Full Functional Knowledge
  • Teamwork and good coordinator.
  • Contractor Management.
  • Good Planning Skills.
  • Resource Management.
  • Good Networking.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument and Chemical Equipment/ Functions.
  • Effectively communicate both orally and through written text.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.
Ability to read and understand technical documents including PFD's and P&ID's.
